In honor of my late grey dog, Minka, Greydog Wood pays tribute to my passion for woodworking and love of dogs. Each piece I work on holds a story, as I strive to uncover the hidden beauty within what may seem like mere scraps. My experience has shown me that often the most unassuming and seemingly ugly pieces of wood can transform into striking wood turnings, showcasing intricate patterns and vibrant grains. Through Greydog Wood, I invite others to appreciate the extraordinary potential that lies within the ordinary.

About Minka

Minka was more than just a dog; she was a cherished member of our family for 17 wonderful years. With her stubborn yet endearing personality, she had a special relationship with food that often led to amusing antics. Minka was particularly protective of our daughter when she was a baby, always keeping a watchful eye on her and providing comfort during the early years of parenthood. Her liveliness would often fill our home with laughter, whether it was her playful attitude or her delightful way of reminding us when it was meal time.
